About Delilah
My interest in Excel began when I saw how useful it is for organising and analysing information in everyday work. I completed a Bachelor’s in Information Systems, where I developed strong technical and analytical skills. Over the past 5 years, I have helped students and professionals learn Excel in a simple and practical way. My experience allows me to guide learners with patience and clarity.
I believe that Excel should be taught through real-life examples and hands-on practice. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand how each feature works and how to apply it effectively. I encourage students to practice regularly and ask questions, which helps them build confidence and improve steadily. I also provide continuous support and feedback to ensure effective learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new Excel features and improving my skills in data tools. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching Excel is very rewarding because I get to help students develop useful skills that support them in many areas of life. Seeing them grow in confidence and ability is something I truly enjoy.

In my lessons, I teach features such as data entry, formatting, formulae, functions, and charts using clear and easy explanations. I make sure each concept is explained in a way that students can follow without confusion. I also include real-life examples like budgeting, tracking information, and creating reports to make learning useful. Each session is calm and structured, helping students build confidence as they practice and improve their skills gradually.
As students progress, lessons become more focused on improving efficiency and understanding. Beginners learn basic tools and simple formulae. Intermediate learners work on functions, charts, and organising data effectively. Advanced students focus on complex formulae, data analysis, and professional tasks. I provide step-by-step guidance, practice exercises, and feedback to ensure students understand each concept clearly and apply it correctly.
Learning Excel also helps students develop logical thinking and organisation skills. As they improve, they become more confident in handling data and completing tasks efficiently. These skills are useful in both academic and professional settings. My goal is to make Excel simple, practical, and easy to understand so students can use it confidently in real-life situations.
