About Saumya
My interest in data organization and spreadsheet tools began while studying information systems at university. I was fascinated by how software like Excel could transform large sets of numbers into meaningful insights. After completing my Bachelor’s degree, I started teaching students how to use spreadsheet tools effectively. Over the past 6 years, I have helped learners understand Excel and apply it in both academic and practical situations.
I believe that learning technology should feel simple and approachable. Many students initially feel uncertain when they see spreadsheets filled with formulas and data. My teaching approach focuses on patience and clear explanation so learners can gradually understand each function. By practicing step by step and working with real examples, students become comfortable using Excel independently.
Outside teaching, I continue learning about different data tools and new ways to analyze information. This helps me bring fresh examples into my lessons and keep the material relevant. Helping students gain confidence with Excel is very rewarding because these skills remain useful in many areas of study and work. My goal is to guide learners toward practical understanding and long-term confidence in using spreadsheet technology.

Excel becomes very useful when students understand how to organize information and perform calculations efficiently. My lessons focus on helping learners build confidence while working with spreadsheets. We begin by exploring the structure of Excel, including cells, rows, columns, and formatting tools. Students learn how data is stored and how formulas can automate calculations. Instead of memorizing steps, learners understand the purpose of each tool so they can apply it in different situations.
During lessons, students practice using important Excel functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, and simple IF formulas. I guide them through examples that show how these tools help manage numbers and information more easily. We also explore sorting data, filtering results, and creating basic charts to visualize information clearly. Each activity is explained step by step so students feel comfortable following the process. Regular exercises help learners develop accuracy and confidence while working with spreadsheets.
As students gain experience, they begin to see Excel as a helpful tool rather than a complex software program. They learn how to organize assignments, analyze simple datasets, and present information in a clear format. My goal is to make each lesson structured and practical so students can build useful skills that support their academic work and future professional tasks.
