A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, giving us time to introduce new concepts, practise openings or tactics, analyse positions, and play through scenarios that strengthen decision-making. I also provide optional practice tasks and strategy tips to help students continue improving between sessions. I have experience teaching learners of different ages and abilities, including beginners who are just discovering the game, intermediate players looking to sharpen their skills, and students who want to improve their confidence, discipline, and problem-solving abilities through chess. My background in education and one-to-one tutoring allows me to break down complex ideas into simple, practical steps that students can apply immediately. My lessons are suitable for children, teens, and adults, whether they are complete beginners, casual players, or learners preparing for school competitions.
