About Julie
Hello, everyone! My name is Julie, and I am thrilled to be your online mathematics tutor. I have a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Ambrose Alli University, and I’ve been teaching mathematics for 5 years. Teaching is my passion, and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. My teaching style is focused on building a strong foundation of knowledge and then building upon it to help students reach their full potential. I believe that practice and reinforcement are key to mastering Mathematics and I always provide plenty of opportunities for students to practice what they’ve learned. I also like to incorporate real-world examples and applications into my lessons to help students see the relevance and practicality of their learning. My ultimate goal as a Mathematics tutor is to help you build confidence in your abilities and develop a lifelong love for learning. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy learning new skills and I’m always excited to learn about new things. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you and helping you achieve your academic goals!

About the lesson A statistics graduate with a teaching experience spanning over 4 years. I have tutored college and undergraduate students for 3 years; which will remain my focus. Here is a breakdown of the timing of our class: Introduction of the topic and full explanation with examples - 15 mins Interactive session - 25 mins Question and answers - 20 mins My lessons are designed to bring out the best out of my students. This we achieve by actively engaging every student during the lesson periods to solve questions after they have understood the examples given to them. I also make sure they understand and get a process before stepping into the next subtopic. This is because the lesson learned from the previous subtopic will be reintroduced or aid in a better understanding of the next one. Looking forward to having your ward learn from me.
