About Katya
I am a graduate of the University of Exeter, where I studied French, Spanish and Russian. I achieved a high 2:1, and spent a year abroad split between Kazakhstan and Estonia, gaining fluency in Russian. I have also spent time living in Málaga and Barcelona, gaining fluency in Spanish. I have two As in A Level French and Spanish and two 9s at GCSE level. I am comfortable tutoring children of any ages, from basic help with primary school children learning a foreign language, up to GCSE and A Level students, helping to prepare for exams, with homework or essays. I also have experience mentoring at university.

My teaching methodology is firstly grasping what the student is capable of, and then finding out what it is they would like to achieve from our tutoring sessions. I can help them go through challenging homework and things they have previously found difficult. I personally use a variety of language-learning tools which I introduce to the student, so we can find the most efficient way for them to learn. I endeavour to help the student not only excel, but enjoy their language-learning experience as well.

Perfect! Katya is a very organised and efficient tutor who tailors each lesson to your needs. She is conscientious and very approachable, which helps to make the lessons enjoyable and engaging.
