About Alex
In 2012, I graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Master of Teaching (Primary)
degree. Since graduating, I have taught as a K-6 teacher where I worked closely with students
with moderate learning difficulties and students with behavioural, emotional and social
difficulties. I am skilled in assessing student learning abilities and developing individual learning
programs to meet students’ needs.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have been involved in
developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans and units of work that accommodate
learners at all levels. I am an energetic and self-motivated person who enjoys working with
children and watching them learn. As a teacher, I love to pass on knowledge to children and
watch them build their confidence in learning. My career goal is to use my professional training to
facilitate, guide, and motivate learning. My main strengths lie in my ability to cater to individual
student needs, my effective classroom management techniques, and sound knowledge of the NSW
curriculum reinforced by my tertiary qualifications.
