About Dr Wasim
Currently I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the department of Sociology at the University of York. My works on the effects of social policy on families and children. Specifically, my research focuses on early childhood education policies and their consequences for children's development and parents' economic stability.
I received My Ph.D. in Human Development from the University of Putra Malaysia in 2017.
I had worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology. In addition, I had one years’ experience as a Research Assistant at National University of Singapore and Thammasat University of Bangkok, Thailand. I also had one years’ experience in United Nations Development Program as a Project manager with the theme named “Rehabilitation for Salt affected Program”.
