About David
Hello! As a recent postgraduate and ex-academic editor, I am no stranger to late nights stressing over long essays and tedious writing assignments. Oftentimes, it can feel like your next big idea is trapped behind a wall of word soup, while other times you may be struggling to write around the fact that you may not actually have any ideas at all. I'm here to help you for any and all levels of academic writing, whether you're trying to express yourself passionately or just meet word count -- no judgement! We can work on whatever tools you need to get through your next exam season with confidence, minus the stress.
While less essential for most, I am also passionate about sharing my knowledge of linguistics directly for any students struggling in their linguistics courses. While I cannot assist in computational assignments, I would be delighted to tutor most other areas, including cognitive linguistics, semantics, pragmatics, phonetics, and more!

Lessons will be flexible, with a strong focus on directly tackling work and problems taken home from school/university. I believe in helping students understand the background and context surrounding key concepts so that they can better engage with the course materials. I will never assign additional work, as I believe active engagement with existing projects is a far better use of students' time.
