About Gurnaaz
My name is Gurnaaz, and I am an Accounting and Finance graduate from the University of York. I am also currently studying towards my ACCA qualification, which strengthens my knowledge while I tutor students. As a recent graduate, I understand the challenges students face and the areas where support is often missing. I want to help them using simple, clear methods that I personally wished I had, so I can bridge that gap and make learning easier. I have completed a wide range of modules, including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Advanced Finance, Quantitative Analysis, Business Economics, Strategic Management, Auditing, Taxation, Management and Leadership, Financial Markets, Financial Statement Analysis and Business Strategy. This allows me to teach both basic and advanced topics with confidence. I aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making steady progress. I am flexible with schedules, and to help students feel confident before committing, I offer a free 45-minute mock lesson so they can understand my teaching style and decide if it suits them. My goal is to support students fully and help them grow in confidence, understanding and academic performance.

My tutoring style is friendly, clear and focused on helping students understand their subjects properly. I teach using easy-to-follow PowerPoint slides and always connect each lesson to what students are learning in school or university. This helps students stay confident and keep up with their coursework. I explain every topic in simple steps, with plenty of examples to make things easier to understand. We practise the same type of seminar, workshop and homework questions students receive in class. For exam preparation, I use mock questions and past papers to build confidence and improve exam performance. Every new class begins with a recap of the previous lesson and a short doubt-clearing session, so the student feels comfortable before starting a new topic. Class timings are flexible. Lessons can be 1 hour or up to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs. When assessments or exams are near, I provide extra time and support to help students prepare fully. All lessons are online, making it easy and convenient to attend from anywhere. I, Gurnaaz, am an Accounting and Finance graduate with recent tutoring experience. My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-Level and university students who want simple explanations, steady progress and stronger results.

My rates are flexible and can be adjusted depending on the student’s level and needs. For school students, the rate is 23, and for university students, it is 25. Prices are negotiable based on the subject, workload and the type of support required
