About Mian
Hi I am Mian! I am an experienced tutor with experiences in teaching English to speakers of other languages online and face-to-face. I got my MA TESOL degree in University of Durham and my undergraduate degree in Digital Media Art from Communication University of China.
I come from Yichang, China. There I had the experience of teaching English to young children for a year. I am now a part-time online English teacher. I gave English lessons to adults and children for months. For the teaching approaches, I prefer learner-centred classroom in which the learning content, learning approaches are determined by the students' needs and personalities. I believe every student can succeed if he/she could have the opportunity to use the appropriate learning method. In my class, students can enjoy their agency to decide the learning content, learning pace and their preferred ways of learning.
?I am also energetic and enthusiastic in teaching and I do hope we can enjoy the time when we have our Chinese lessons. I hope we could have some fun in language learning and share our cultures together.
