About Priya
I have extensive experience of tutoring students from ages 5 to 16 through previous employment in tuition centres, as well as my own private tuition practice. I offer tuition on a 1-to-1 basis, and in focused group sessions, covering the KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, 11+, and 13+ curricula. I am based in Harrow and am happy to tutor students in the nearby area.
Last year alone, all of my GCSE students attained a level 7 or above in Maths and grade B or above in Science.

I have graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a BSc Maths and Physics degree, achieving a 2:1 (Hons). I am an approachable, friendly tutor with over 4 years of experience with children of different abilities and backgrounds.
I encourage and motivate students to reach their true potential and am able to employ a variety of teaching methods that best suits the child. My teaching experience has covered a broad range of children from differing age groups and capabilities, and from both state and private schools.
My tailored and established tutoring method best identifies children's strong points and highlights areas where the child can be developed to achieve a more rounded grasp of the subject.
In the initial session, I will gauge an understanding of the child's strengths and weaker areas through tailored tests and conversations with the child. This enables me to develop a personalised and structured plan for the student that will strengthen their weaker areas and push them further in stronger areas which I will deliver over the course of the tutoring period.
