About Ben
I am a creative and imaginative history teacher with four years worth of experience teaching pupils in KS3, GCSE and A-level. I have taught both the Edexcel and AQA specifications in two different schools so would be flexible tutoring for either exam board. I have a positive, supportive approach to teaching and encourage pupils to develop a growth mindset to achieve their aims. I am deeply passionate about my subject and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with my pupils and tutees. I currently teach at a prestigious and well respected grammar school in Hertfordshire and I have also taught at a comprehensive school in Birmingham. I am capable of adapting my lessons to students of any ability so if you are looking to improve any area of your historical or political studies, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Ben helped me a lot in my session with him and made sure i understood what he was teaching me by giving me tasks to do (for example, essay writing). I enjoyed the session as he supported me during the session and I gained a lot of detailed knowledge from it. Looking forward to my other sessions with Ben as he his good at what he teaches.
