About Roman
I'm somewhat of a perfectionist who notices small details and strives to help young vocalists find the right path to a painless and easy-going sound production. My tertiary degree is Master’s in Musical Arts, specializing in Vocals and Education, including a classical vocal course at the Odessa Conservatory. I play most instruments, including various ethnic Eastern European ones. My vocal experience, both onstage and teaching, ranges from classical to pop. I have SA Working With Children Check and I am currently in the process of completing a Child-Safe Environments Course as a part of my UniSA Social Work degree. My ongoing professional experience of 16 years has been based on the following: - teaching music to school-aged children (as young as 5 years old) in both one-on-one and group settings in Adelaide, SA, and Eastern Europe; - being an artistic director at Adelaide’s Eastern European cultural center by the means of doing choral conducting for amateur choirs and creating arrangements for musical projects; - doing sound production, sound-engineering, and concert preparation for a government organization. Despite my formal education and highly structured professional experience, I am a very down-to-earth and laid-back person who loves having fun and discovering a unique teaching approach to every student of mine. My amazing primary-school aged son keeps me on my toes at all times as he is steadily making his way into the world of music.

During the first lesson, I evaluate my student’s skill and experience level, identifying one’s weak and strong areas. After assessing the student’s expectations, I create an individual study plan which would allow to achieve the desired progress most efficiently. My lessons would gladly address both long-term and short-term goals: - be it voice or instrument training; - or working out mistakes and shortcomings in performing activities, assistance in the preparation of concert material. Lesson duration can be either 30 or 60 minutes, depending on your expectations and needs. Lessons with me are suitable for both beginner and intermediate vocalists and guitarists. Most importantly, lessons with me are all about enjoying yourself and tapping into your true potential!

Perfect! Roman has a wealth of experience. Ive been singing for many yrs. Roman has totally reinvented my voice in ways, when preforming i can now sing for a extended period oif time without damging my voice. Roman is honest, genuine, realible teacher. If you take your singing seriously or even just as a hobby Roman will forfill your needs in the best professional manner.

Roman has been assisting my 16 years old daughter with upcoming concert and show preparations. She does classical vocals and Roman has been great at giving her specific tips and pointers, helping her run through her singing material. Roman is very direct and to the point and yet quite delicate and perceptive of one’s emotional state (which is exactly what you require when dealing with teenagers :)
