About Mia
I have been brought up by my English mum and my German dad, which means I speak both languages equally as well. I love working, playing and learning with children. During my time at secondary school I tutored a lot (Latin, German, English and Maths) and babysat in my free time. Since graduating in 2018 I have been working as a substitute art teacher at my old Grammar school as well as tutoring. I worked as a nanny / tutor for a lovely nine-year-old girl in 2020. Since the beginning academic year (Sep 22) I have been fortunate enough to work as a part-time art teacher in for a local humanistic Grammar School (High School). While I am completing my Art Pedagogy MA online, I would love to get into tutoring again having moved to Bristol, UK.

I would love to help you / your child enjoy learning art and art history, creating and getting to know your strengths and what makes creating fun. Alongside that I strive to provide theoretical and practical support covering the Art and Design Curriculum. I want you and your child to feel supported and professionally guided through what can feel a lot of work once gaps have shown up in a subject. Please do not hesitate to contact me and reach out.
