About Danielle
I am a practicing Registered Nurse with 13 years of diverse clinical experience and a proven track record in patient care, education, and mentorship. In addition to my work at the bedside, I serve as an adjunct nursing instructor at the university level and am currently completing my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on nursing education. My passion lies in empowering nursing students to succeed by combining evidence-based teaching strategies with practical, real-world insights. I understand the challenges of nursing school and the importance of building both knowledge and confidence. My Approach as a Tutor
I combine my 13 years of nursing practice with my experience as a university adjunct instructor to create lessons that are clear, engaging, and directly applicable to clinical and academic success. My teaching method focuses on breaking complex concepts into manageable parts, using real-world examples to connect theory with practice, and encouraging active participation to build confidence and critical thinking skills.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Assessment – Begin by identifying the student’s goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Concept Review – Explain and discuss the topic, using visual aids or case studies when appropriate.
Application – Work through practice questions, scenarios, or skill demonstrations relevant to the topic.
Reflection & Feedback – Summarize key takeaways, answer questions, and give actionable study tips for independent practice.
