Hello! I’m Noura, an experienced Arabic language teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature, a Teacher’s Certificate in Arabic teaching for school-age children, and a Master’s degree in Arabic Rhetoric and Literature. Currently pursuing my PhD, I have over 3 years of teaching experience, having worked as a lecturer at Kafkas University in Turkey.

Teaching Method and Techniques:
As a tutor, I believe in creating a personalized learning experience tailored to each student’s needs, whether they’re beginners or advanced learners. I use a combination of communicative and immersive methods, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. My lessons are highly interactive, incorporating multimedia resources, including videos, texts, and real-life scenarios to enhance understanding. I emphasize Arabic grammar and vocabulary in context, making sure students grasp cultural nuances as well. I also use formative assessments to track progress and adjust my approach based on the student’s learning pace.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Warm-up (5-10 minutes): We begin with a short conversation or review of the previous lesson’s material to reinforce key concepts.
2. Core Lesson (30-40 minutes): Introduction of new vocabulary and grammar, followed by practice exercises like dialogue simulations, reading passages, or listening to audio clips. I ensure that the material is practical and relevant.
3. Application (10-15 minutes): Students apply what they’ve learned through speaking exercises, role-playing, or short written assignments.
4. Feedback and Homework (5 minutes): I give feedback on the day’s lesson and assign light homework to reinforce learning before the next session.
