I start by listening to my students explain what topics they are finding most difficult, and I then discuss the content, providing simple questions to ensure that they have understood the content. I then build upon this initial understanding by giving more examples of questions, sometimes incorporating other topics in a context-based question to ensure that understanding has been secured.
