In my chess lessons, I aim to foster a deep understanding of the game while nurturing critical thinking and strategic skills in my students. Each session is crafted to be engaging, educational, and tailored to the individual needs and goals of the learner, whether they are a beginner or an advanced player.
We start by assessing the student's current level of chess knowledge and understanding. This initial evaluation helps me tailor lessons that are appropriately challenging yet achievable. For beginners, we focus on fundamental principles such as piece movement, basic tactics, and opening principles. As students progress, lessons evolve to cover more advanced topics such as middle game strategies, endgame techniques, and tactical combinations.
I believe in a hands-on approach to teaching chess, where students actively participate in analyzing positions, solving puzzles, and playing practice games. This interactive style not only reinforces theoretical concepts but also develops practical skills and decision-making abilities.
