About Barbara
Hi! My name is Bárbara and I’m originally from Chile. I’m a qualified lawyer with over 12 years of professional experience and hold a Master’s degree in Law. I have a strong passion for language and communication, which led me to start teaching Spanish in a clear, engaging, and culturally rich way. I’ve been living in Auckland, New Zealand for a little over a year, and I’m currently enjoying this beautiful country while sharing my language and culture with others. I speak Spanish as my native language and have an intermediate level of English, which helps me connect well with learners from different backgrounds. Outside of teaching, I’m a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor, and I love spending time in nature. I enjoy freediving, stand-up paddleboarding, traveling, and reading. If you're looking for a Spanish teacher who is patient, professional, and passionate about teaching and life, I’d be happy to help you on your language journey!

Hi! I’m a Chilean lawyer with over 12 years of experience, and I love helping people learn Spanish in a way that’s clear, practical, and enjoyable.
My classes are relaxed but well-structured, and I always adapt them to your level, goals, and interests—whether you’re just starting out, preparing for a trip, improving your conversation skills, or looking to learn more professional or legal Spanish.
Each lesson is 1 hour long and can be online or in person if you're based in Auckland, New Zealand.
In our classes, we’ll focus on:

Latin American culture and expressions
Vocabulary that matches your needs (everyday, academic, or professional)
