About Jisheng
I am an experienced Chinese Language teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience in MOE schools. I hold a Ph.D. and Master's degrees from the National University of Singapore, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from NIE. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught students of different ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping students discover their potential and make progress. I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance, encouragement and learning strategies. I find it especially rewarding to see students become more confident in Chinese and achieve results that they once thought were beyond their reach.
With my extensive experience in PSLE and O Level Chinese Language teaching, I hope to help students not only improve their examination results, but also develop greater confidence and a genuine interest in learning Chinese.

With over 16 years of experience as a Chinese Language teacher in Singapore’s Ministry of Education, I provide structured, personalised and results-oriented Chinese tuition tailored to each student’s individual needs. I first identify a student’s strengths and learning gaps, then develop targeted strategies to help them improve step by step.
My lessons focus not only on completing worksheets, but also on teaching students how to learn effectively. I use clear explanations, structured practice, targeted feedback and examination strategies to help students build confidence and achieve better results. With extensive experience in PSLE and O Level Chinese Language preparation, I can help students understand different question types, improve their answering techniques and develop stronger language skills.
I believe every student can improve with the right guidance, encouragement and consistent support. My goal is to make Chinese learning more manageable, meaningful and rewarding for every student.
