I am a civil engineering graduate with a strong academic background in mathematics, physics, and analytical problem-solving. Through my engineering studies and professional experience, I have developed a structured and logical approach to learning, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. My approach to tutoring focuses on building strong conceptual understanding rather than simply memorising formulas or procedures. As a civil engineering graduate, I have developed a structured and analytical way of approaching problems, and I aim to help students understand *why* concepts work, not just *how* to solve them. I break complex topics into smaller, manageable steps and use practical examples to make difficult ideas easier to grasp.
During lessons, I usually begin by identifying the student’s current level of understanding and the specific areas where they need support. I then explain the core concepts clearly, work through examples together, and give the student guided practice problems to reinforce their understanding. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so that the session becomes interactive and tailored to their learning pace.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, which allows enough time to review concepts, practice problems, and address any questions the student may have.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have strong academic experience in mathematics, physics, and engineering-related subjects. My lessons are designed primarily for high school students and first-year university students who want to improve their understanding of maths, physics, or introductory engineering concepts.
My goal is to help students gain confidence in problem-solving and develop the analytical thinking skills needed to succeed in their studies.
