I have taught elementary grades K-4 for over 20 years and have 7 years of experience helping bilingual students make growth in their listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.

Connect reading and writing together to inspire students to create their own writing pieces with support and mini-lessons. Read different genres and improve comprehension with guided reading and scaffolding. High-interest and fun books aligned to your level and needs.
Start by sharing reading interests and topics.
Provide background knowledge on the topic I have selected.
I weave a couple of literacy skills in your books to provide you the opportunity to practice and improve your comprehension. Then we study the author's craft to create our own writing pieces.
