About Houda
Hello! My name is Houda and I am a teacher in Nashville, Tennessee. I have been tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students in math and reading since I was in college. Now, nearly ten years later, I have almost four years of classroom experience. I have always valued a one-on-one connection with students and the impact that having a teacher be "all-in" has on student success. I see my role as not only building up your skills in a particular subject, but also building your confidence when things are challenging. My sessions will be about making mistakes together and learning from them. And finding any way we can to have fun with it!

With years of pedagogy and classroom instruction under my belt, my tutoring style is structured and based on best practices. We will start with cementing what goals you have for the tutoring service and then we will establish your starting point. Using my years of curriculum building experience, I will create a personalized plan to get you to your goal in the number of sessions you prefer. We will always take stock of your improvements every session with formative assessments that give us a clear picture of progress. I believe in a personalized, data-driven approach to tutoring and find that it provides my students with the best results and the confidence to succeed.
