My name is Ali, and I am a Software Engineer and Certified Data Analyst with over 13 years of experience applying mathematics, logic, and quantitative problem-solving to real-world tech and automation projects. Throughout my career, mathematics has never been just a set of textbook formulas to me—it is the foundational language behind software, data modeling, algorithms, and analytical engineering. Why do I wanna teach?
I wanna teach because I know firsthand how frustrating traditional math instruction can be when it relies on rigid memorization and repeating formulas without context. Many students believe they "aren't math people" simply because the material was never explained in a way that clicked for them.
I wanna change that rhetoric. All of you are mathematicians. Its in your dna. You just have to learn it right. Whether you are a middle school student building your initial confidence, a high schooler tackling algebra, or a college student working through university-level math, I want to give you the practical intuition, step-by-step clarity and problem-solving mindset you need to succeed. Maths is supposed to be the most fun experience of your educational career. If its not, your teachers are doing it wrong. My lessons focus on turning abstract mathematical concepts into practical, intuitive logic. Coming from a background in software engineering, data analysis and automation, I teach mathematics as a fun tool for problem-solving rather than rote memorization.
My structured 3-step methodology includes:
Core Concept Breakdown: We start by stripping away dense formulas to understand why a mathematical rule works using real-world analogies and visual examples.
Guided Step-by-Step Practice: We work through problem sets together, breaking down complex multi-step equations into clear, manageable steps.
Independent Application & Debugging: The student takes the lead on solving problems while I guide them to identify and fix their own calculation errors, building long-term confidence.
Lesson Structure & Format
Lesson Duration: Standard sessions run for 60 minutes, which provides the optimal balance for deep learning without burnout. Extended 90-minute sessions are available for intensive exam prep or advanced calculus topics.
Location & Tools: All lessons are conducted remotely via Zoom. I utilize a digital whiteboard, visual problem sets, and screen-sharing to ensure interactive, highly engaging sessions.
