As a tutor, I believe that math should be engaging, practical, and accessible for every student. My approach focuses on building strong foundational skills, developing problem-solving strategies, and making real-world connections to help students understand concepts deeply rather than just memorizing formulas. Teaching Methodology & Techniques Personalized Learning – I assess each student's strengths and challenges to tailor lessons to their needs. Step-by-Step Problem Solving – I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build confidence. Interactive and Practical Examples – I use real-life scenarios and visual aids to make math more relatable. Encouraging Growth Mindset – I foster a positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. Typical Lesson Plan Warm-up – Quick review of previous concepts and a fun mental math exercise. Concept Introduction – Clear explanation of the day’s topic with visual aids and examples. Guided Practice – Step-by-step problem-solving with my support. Independent Practice – Students apply what they’ve learned with my feedback. Recap & Q&A – Summarizing key takeaways and addressing any questions. What Sets Me Apart? Real-World Applications – As a Data Analyst, I show students how math is used in careers and everyday life. Inclusive Teaching Style – With my background in youth outreach and facilitation, I create a welcoming and supportive learning space. Adaptable to Different Learning Styles – I adjust my methods to fit visual, auditory, and hands-on learners. Who Are My Lessons For?
