About Phillip

I have taught ESL/EFL classes in Brazil, Japan and Australia for more than 25 years
I was an IELTS examiner for more than 10 years
I am Masters graduate in Applied Linguistics
I have lived for many years in Brazil and Japan so I understand the needs and difficulties of students speaking English in Australia

About the lesson

I believe each lesson should have an underlying teaching point to guide the lesson. This teaching point should be relevant to the needs of the student. My teaching is student focused and easily understood by the student.

I have worked with Phillip in the education industry over a number of years and I have found him to be a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher of students of all ages and levels. Phillip has very good communication skills and he takes a keen interest in each student's progress and is results driven. Having spoken to many of Phillip's previous students it's clear his classes are not only informative and educational but also enjoyable. I have no hesitation in recommending Phillip as a teacher for students of all ages and level.
