About Jessica
Hello! My name is Jess, and I am a licensed elementary teacher with experience teaching mathematics to students in grades 3–5. I am passionate about helping children build confidence in their abilities and develop a positive relationship with learning.
In my classroom, I work with students who have a wide range of strengths, learning styles, and academic needs. I believe that every child can be successful in math when instruction is tailored to their individual needs and presented in a supportive, encouraging environment.
My tutoring sessions are designed to be engaging, personalized, and focused on helping students truly understand mathematical concepts rather than simply memorizing procedures. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to maintain skills over the summer, or is looking for an additional challenge, I will create lessons that meet them where they are and help them grow.
As both a classroom teacher and tutor, my goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and successful while making learning a positive experience.
