About Kristina
I am currently a first grade teacher in a classroom that serves general education and special education populations. However, I have experience working with children in grades K-6. Additionally, I have my Master’s Degree and currently working towards my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.
I am available to tutor your child in enriching learning activities to help them retain their knowledge, or to address any concerns you may have for your child going into the next school year. After meeting with you and your child, I will devise a plan and engaging, hands on activities that will set your student up for success.

As an elementary school, I am available to teach across all content areas in grades K-6. I am available to tutor your child in enriching learning activities to help them retain their knowledge, or to address any concerns you may have for your child going into the next school year. After meeting with you and your child, I will devise a plan and engaging, hands on activities that will set your student up for success.
During instruction, I typically follow a three part process, I Do, We Do, You Do. This system of gradual release allows me to model and show students how to complete a task, then we work on a task together. This allows me to provide guiding and clarifying questions, as well as to allow the student to explain their thinking and ask any questions they may have. Finally, the student will have an opportunity to show what they know in mastering the task and building their confidence in their learning.
