I am a very experienced chartered engineer, with an honours degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. I have designed and maintained highly complex systems. Have helped children with mathematics by making it simple to understand and breaking complex problems down into manageable chunks.

I start by understanding what the problem is. Find out how capable my student is. Then start to work at a level that is understood. Then gradually increase the level of complexity until the problem is solved. By breaking problems down into chunks and solving each part of the problem then the understanding is increased and what is taught is apt to be retained.
