About Rhiannon
I'm an experienced English teacher and examiner. I love teaching and find those 'light bulb' moments make this profession worthwhile. I am an avid reader and would try to encourage everyone to read! 15 years teaching English, 7 years as an examiner, 1 year as an assistant headteacher and 12 years as a private tutor. I've had a really good success rate with students passing their GCSEs.

Every lesson must be tailored to the individual. There are some aspects that cannot be escaped (essay writing for example!) But it is so important to build a student's confidence with English before attempting anything too daunting. I try to use topics that they enjoy whilst also bringing some humour to the sessions.
