About Rosie
I have been teaching in secondary schools for four years, and I love providing 1:1 education to students who need extra support that they aren't getting from their primary teacher, or working with children who are aiming for academic excellence in English Literature and Language.

I have weekend and half-term slots available for an hour at a time. My lessons will be targeted towards improving key skills through a collaborative personalised education plan for each student.
Typical lessons to improve KS3 attainment would include reading and inferencing practice before responding to a text in writing.
A typical GCSE preparation lesson is dependent on the child's target grade: those aiming for a 4-5 will be focused on reiterating core knowledge and skills that are missed in their school lessons, while those aiming for 7-9 will be focused on creating cohesive critical essays, how to move up the mark scheme, access to higher-tier, text-specific knowledge and providing individual feedback at a much higher rate than they would get from their primary teacher.
