From our very first lesson, Sylvia demonstrated an incredible level of patience that immediately put me at ease. Learning to play the ukulele can be challenging, especially when it comes to mastering strumming patterns, but she never lost her cool. Instead, she took the time to understand my struggles, encouraging me to approach each challenge with confidence. Her calm demeanor and unwavering support make all the difference.

What truly sets Sylvia apart is her ability to adapt her teaching methods to fit my learning style. Whether through auditory aids, hands-on demonstrations, or vidual exercises, depending on the song and my struggles she has a remarkable talent for personalizing her approach. It has been a little more than a year now and with a busy work schedule and hectic home life I have not always spent the time I wanted to playing but I will always try to make the time for our weekly lesson as even if I only play one hour that week ( which is not enough to progress ) I know that it will be a very enjoyable time for myself .
Her patience, adaptability, and genuine dedication to her students' progress make her an invaluable asset to anyone looking to learn the ukulele. I am truly grateful for the time I am spending with her, and I am confident that others will feel the same.

I have had ukulele lessons with Sylvia for quite a while and always look forward to my next class. She brings a lot of her own ideas and material, making sure a wide range of techniques and styles are covered, but is also happy to work on songs I bring along and would like to learn, working on it together with her expert guidance. It's a lot of fun and she's a great teacher.

Sylvia's classes are great, I am both learning a lot and having fun. She is always well prepared, has a ton of self-made material and knows all of the ins and outs of playing the ukelele. She also welcomes (and even encourages) you to suggest songs to play yourself, which makes learning so much more enjoyable!

Sylvia is very professional at all times as well as hunble and caring. She explains things clearly and concisely. She provides you with the material you need to learn and is also open to suggestions. She is understading of peoples needs and musical levels and is willing to work with you at your own pace. And she is super flexible with times and space; I do my classes online from New Zealand!
