About Azfar
Hi! I’m Azfar, a Cybersecurity student at Ontario Tech University and a former Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I’ve been tutoring for 4 years and genuinely enjoy helping students understand subjects that initially seem difficult or overwhelming.
I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. I’ve helped students improve from grades in the 60s to 85+, and I believe the best results come from understanding the material rather than simply memorizing it.
Whether you need help catching up, keeping up with schoolwork, preparing for a test, or getting ahead, I’ll work with you to build a plan that fits your goals.

My approach to English tutoring is practical, supportive, and focused on building skills rather than simply completing assignments. I break down writing, grammar, reading comprehension, and essay structure into clear steps, then have students apply those skills through guided practice. Lessons typically begin with a review of previous work, followed by focused instruction and practice, then feedback on areas that need improvement. With 4 years of tutoring experience, I understand how to adapt explanations to different students and help them build confidence. I primarily teach Grades 5–10 students who need help with English coursework, homework, writing, reading comprehension, grammar, or improving their overall academic performance.
