About Sinead
Hello, my name is Sinead and I am an English native level speaker from a small town just outside of Johannesburg South Africa and I want to help YOU reach YOUR GOAL. I can help you with reading and understanding English, writing and speaking English fluently in a relaxed, fun and dynamic environment. I am interested in all forms of The Arts especially music as I majored in vocals and piano. I love reading a good book, watching a good documentary or various sport whenever I get a chance. I love nature and the outdoors, gardening, camping etc. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their different cultures as well as spending quality time with my family which includes my four dogs! I have recently graduated with a diploma in teaching English as a foreign language at The TEFL Academy, I am now looking for an entry-level position that will enable me to apply all the skills and knowledge I acquired during my studies. As a student, I was able to gain experience in many areas related to Teaching and greatly enjoyed working through the assignments and planning relevant lessons. While studying, I have been tutoring and working with students who have different difficulty areas. I have been dedicated to ensuring each of them reach a certain goal. I have been commended for my complete patience and commitment when working with others. I was also highly involved in examination prep and holiday revision as well as gaining experience in time management and creativity. I also improved my leadership capabilities while further growing my passion and enthusiasm for Teaching English as a foreign language. In my classes I will put special emphasis on students, their needs, their goals and their interests. I will adjust my materials, approach and pace of learning accordingly so it best suits their specific needs. I believe that my encouraging, patient and guiding nature, as well as my other professional qualities, will enable me to fulfill my potential while working as an English tutor. I have also worked several years in a corporate environment and thus can assist with professional business English.
