About Niall
I am a graduate of NUI Galway with degrees in Economics, Sociology and Politics. Outside of teaching, I have a keen interest in films and literature, with a particular appreciation for the work of Stanley Kubrick. I enjoy staying active through regular gym sessions and the occasional swim in Salthill when the weather permits.
As a tutor, I am friendly, approachable and naturally curious. I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversations and encouraging students to think critically, ask questions and express themselves confidently. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable taking their time, developing their language skills and building confidence through genuine communication.

With over 20 years of TEFL experience and primary teaching qualifications, I offer bespoke English tuition tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. Lessons are designed following a thorough needs analysis and can support primary pupils, learners preparing for exams, and newcomers adapting to life and education in Ireland.
I specialise in building confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing through engaging, practical lessons. Online lessons are preferred, offering flexibility and convenience, although in-person tuition may also be available in the Galway area.
