Experienced, enthusiastic, and engaging Classics teacher with a DPhil from Oxford offering expert tuition in Latin, Ancient Greek, and Classical Civilization to all ages and levels.

Georgina and I met whilst teaching at Marlborough College in England. She immediately came across as being a passionate teacher with a deep grasp of grammar and language. Subsequently, we worked together delivering English courses to overseas students. She quickly commanded the respect of her students and a typical lesson involved a breadth of learning that was truly stimulating.

I was George's Head of Department at the King's School in Canterbury where she taught Latin, Greek, Classical Civilisation, and Philosophy and achieved excellent results at GCSE and A level. She gave enrichment lessons for Oxbridge entry and produces interesting resources, inspiring her students always to give their best and to develop a love for the Ancient World. George is a true scholar and has outstanding subject knowledge. She has written commentaries for exam texts for OCR and has worked as an examiner so she is up-to-date with what exam boards require of candidates. She is fun and approachable and makes the study of language very interesting for her students. Her explanation of the material is clear and easy to understand, and she tailors her teaching to build on her students' strengths.
