About Brendan
I am a firefighter-paramedic with real-world EMS experience in private ambulance, hospital-based EMS, municipal systems, and fire districts throughout the St. Louis area. I became an EMT in 2016 and have worked my way through every level of the job, from busy ambulance shifts to fire-based EMS response.
I hold an associate degree in EMS and have completed EMT school, paramedic school, and the fire academy. I served as class president during paramedic school and as a team leader in the fire academy, so I understand both the academic side and the pressure students feel while trying to succeed.
My goal as a tutor is to make EMT and paramedic education easier to understand, more practical, and less overwhelming. I focus on breaking down complex topics into plain language, connecting textbook knowledge to real patient care, and helping students build the confidence they need for class, clinicals, ride time, skills testing, and the NREMT.

As a firefighter-paramedic with experience in private EMS, hospital-based EMS, municipal systems, and fire districts, I connect classroom material to real calls so you understand not just what to do, but why you are doing it. My goal is to help you pass your exams, improve your clinical decision-making, and feel more prepared for class, skills testing, ride time, clinicals, and the National Registry.
