About Charlotte
I have an excellent academic record, from GCSE (A's and A*'s) through to my bachelor degree (first class with honours, University of Nottingham). I know how to perform well in the classroom, but I also bring a wealth of professional and practical experience within the field of biology.

Learn straight from the industry, not just the books!
I am a first class biology graduate, and I have travelled across Asia, Europe and Australia applying my marine biology knowledge in the real world, including whale conservation, scuba guiding, sustainability consultancy and DNA lab work. I am truly passionate about my subject and love bringing it to life for my students.
Every child is different, so I use a flexible and engaging teaching style to ensure every learner stays focused on improving, without even realising they're doing the hard work! In the background I keep clear structured progress logs, keep track of areas of weakness and identify which skills need a little extra attention. This data helps me create a clear plan for each child, and is part of the reason why my students improve two letter grades on average.
I would love to hear from you to discuss your child's particular needs and goals, and how we can work together to make it happen!
