About Sami
I’m currently offering 1-to-1 online tuition for students studying GCSE Chemistry or Biology, doing the AQA specification.
I’m a Bachelor of Medical Science Graduate (First Class) with over 3 years of tutoring experience. To date, I’ve taught over 450 lessons in GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Maths.
How I tutor:
My lessons are tailored to your learning style and your strengths. We can work on specific topics you want help with, or we can use past papers to identify the areas that need more practice.
I'll explain the difficult topics in a simple, clear way, so they’re easier to understand and feel much less daunting.
Homework questions will help reinforce what you’ve learnt, and regular past papers will give us a clear idea of how you’re progressing towards your target grade. I'll teach you how to approach each type of question, so you can go into your exams confident and well-prepared.
My academic background:

There are 3 steps to succeeding in your subjects: Understanding, Memorisation and Exam Technique. I will take you through each of these steps in turn, ensuring that you leave our lessons with an excellent knowledge of your subjects.
Firstly: Understanding. I teach using online notes and resources, incorporating diagrams where possible. I make sure the resources I use are of the highest quality possible. I tailor my teaching methods to your learning style and strengths. We’ll use an online whiteboard which you can view and edit with me during the lesson. You can access the lesson material any time.
Secondly: Memorisation. The more you use your knowledge, the better it is retained. Therefore, I’ll regularly test your knowledge throughout the lesson. I also use homework questions to further reinforce the information.
Finally, we will go through practice questions in order to fine-tune your exam technique. I make good use of past papers and topic tests.
Before each lesson, we'll agree on a plan, so you’ll know what to expect. You're free to suggest any topics you want to learn. After each lesson, I give out the homework and we plan for the next one.
