About Maisie
One of the main reasons I tutor is that I want to make the enjoyable aspects of chemistry accessible for all students. When people ask me what I study their usual response is ' I hated chemistry in school' or 'I found chemistry too hard' and I think this is because students struggle to grasp the difficult concepts within the subject and so they don't ever get to see or find enjoyment out of the fun, and more interesting side. I'd like my students to not only just get a good grade, but to also see the exciting side of such a difficult subject.

My approach to tutoring is mainly exam question-based. We will spend some time looking at content and then applying the content to multiple exam questions. I offer sessions from 1-2 hours and give discounts for group sessions. I have a year of experience tutoring GCSE chemistry and am currently an undergraduate chemistry student at the University of Nottingham.
