About Christopher
Hello, my name is Chris and I've been a qualified teacher for nearly 25 years, with 16 years as a Deputy Headteacher in a large secondary school. I graduated as a mature student with a joint honours degree in Physics and History (1st Class). I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Oxford University before starting my career. I have a love of Physics, particularly Astrophysics and am a keen Astro Photographer.
I have been teaching Science (specifically Physics) for nearly 25 years. I have successfully taught Physics at GCSE, both Higher and Foundation, and A-Level; my students regularly achieve the highest grades in both qualifications.

I try to inspire my students with a love for the subject; I want students to enjoy and have fun learning. I use a lot of real-world examples and will encourage students to develop their understanding independently. In my experience the key to success at both GCSE and A-Level is constant practice using actual exam questions; this is a critical part of my teaching strategy.
