About Sona
I am a well travelled, articulate English teacher. I enjoy arts, culture and learning new languages. I am currently studying Chinese Mandarin, which I greatly enjoy.
I am a creative individual, and often encourage language learning through storytelling. I also write extracts, which I use in the lessons myself.
I enjoy keeping up-to-date with current events, and believe that this is both grounding and stimulating for me as an individual, and a professional.
I believe that teaching is a vocation, mainly based on forming relevant analogies. I work tirelessly to create a contemporary, relevant and engaging class for my students.

I am a dynamic and energetic English teacher, specialising in General and Business English. I have several years UK-based and international experience, ranging from face-to-face, group lessons to corporate presentations and online classes. I am currently a part-time distance learning postgraduate student with UWE Bristol. I am passionate about empowering a variety of people, through language acquisition. I work closely with students to facilitate their learning goals, and encourage them to contextualise their lessons; if your lessons cannot be incorporated in your daily life, it can be difficult to preserver.
