During my high-school year, I frequently complicated my reception of literary and extra-literary pieces, to the point where my sentences and ideas no longer made sense to my teachers or to my peers. I was reluctant to reach out for help; I worried that my difficulties in writing were too specific, or that I would lose confidence in myself because of needing a tutor. My experience with Isabela, a lovely person whose nuance and dedication in her university-level studies transferred over to my tutoring experience, taught me otherwise. Over the course of a couple of months, Isabela helped me wire down on the specific issues I was facing in writing, and demonstrated immense insight into the type of student. Anytime I was feeling worried, she would encourage me to continue, pointing out some of the writing skills that I already had and reminding me that this feat was not insurmountable. I am still working on my writing to-date, but thanks to my experience with Isabela, I have since greatly improved. With that said, I would recommend Isabela to anyone who is facing a particular difficulty in writing, or in a discipline of her expertise.
