About Alejandra
Part of being a great student, means being a great teacher! I absolutely love teaching my students, from each and all grade levels (K-college undergrad). As a tutor who has had 11 years of experience, I've learned a couple things from my students as well. I've worked with both advanced students as well as with students who may be struggling with one or more learning disabilities. We all learn at different paces, and that is totally okay. My job is to make everyone feel safe and confident in their own learning capabilities in order to reach success in and out of the classroom.

-As the Tutor and Recess Coach at Lozano Elementary Bilingual and International Center, I am primarily responsible for managing the tutoring and recess schedule for all K-8 school-age youth, expanding social emotional knowledge school-wide, and being a proactive team member and mentor within the school environment.
- The Graide Network matches K-12 schools with teaching assistants, such as myself, for enhanced feedback on student writing. I provide formative and personalized feedback for each of my students in order to improve their learning outcomes. Ultimately, I have a strong and passionate devotion to helping my students create a learning environment that fosters enthusiasm for their success in the classroom and beyond.
