About Ashley
Hi, I'm Ashley Ng.
I offer tuition for secondary school maths as well as VCE maths (further and methods), Health and accounting for both 1/2 and 3/4 students.
I've currently studying Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne and have been part of the SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning) program at my high school, which allowed me to do 8 VCE subjects over the course of 3 years, as compared to 6. This allowed me to really focus on the way I approach my subjects and also have a chance to really understand the course.
I want to tutor because of the passion I have for these subjects, and I love seeing the joy of my students when they understand the concepts and succeed.

I teach my students based on how I believe I was able to achieve great scores in the subjects I tutor, which is understanding the concepts involved in the subject as compared to just memorising the formulas makes a big difference to help the student to achieve their goals for the subject.
I also make sure to tailor the way I teach as to what fits the student best, by accomodating their needs and listening to any concerns they have, as I believe this has an impact as well.
