Hi, I’m Faith Dimas, a motivated high school student with a strong foundation in math and science. As a tutor, my goal is to make learning clear, comfortable, and confidence-building for every student. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable steps, using real-world examples and guided practice to help students truly grasp the material.
My teaching method combines step-by-step explanations, active problem-solving, and plenty of encouragement. I ask questions to check understanding and adjust my approach depending on how each student learns best—whether it’s through visuals, repetition, or hands-on examples.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by a focused session on the current topic (like solving equations, understanding chemical reactions, or practicing geometry proofs). We’ll work through examples together, then the student tries a few on their own with my support. I always leave time for questions and tips for studying or remembering key concepts.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students as a high schooler myself. I know how certain topics can feel overwhelming, and I explain things in a relatable, non-intimidating way. I’m patient, motivated, and genuinely care about helping others succeed.
My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students—especially those in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, General Math, or Chemistry. Whether someone needs help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead, I’m here to support them at their pace.
