About Khai Sheng
My teaching methodology emphasizes interactive learning, where I encourage student engagement through problem-solving, group discussions, and real-world applications of concepts. Typically, my lessons last around 90 minutes, allowing ample time for instruction, practice, and questions. My lessons are designed for high school students preparing for their IGCSE Mandarin exams typically ranging from ages 15 to 18. Hey there! I am an experienced mandarin tutor that can help you master the intricacies of mandarin and help you excel in all aspects of the language, including writing, speaking and reading. I often make connections to Japanese and Korean words because believe it or not, they share very similar roots to Mandarin! This method helped my students to effective absorb new Chinese vocabulary and all my students commended this technique.
