About Taylor
Hello, my name is Taylor. I have a rich background in education and illustration. My teaching journey began in high school through my school's future teachers program, where I assisted in teaching 4th-grade art for a full school year. During high school and college, I worked in various daycares, lead several summer camp programs and developed curriculum. In college, I focused on illustration, refining my skills in this area. Currently residing in Philadelphia, my aspiration is to publish a graphic novel. Teaching art, specifically cartooning, is a true passion of mine, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my creativity with others.

In each lesson we will explore how to simplify shapes while finding your unique style. We will break down complex forms, conduct drawing studies, and discuss your favorite influences. With each student I look at what they can already accomplish, figure out what parts of illustration interest and inspire them most, and bring those two things together to help the student flourish in their own practice. These lessons can help a beginner graduate from stick figures to complex silhouettes and an intermediate artist find their style and voice.
