About Ed
After finishing my PG Diploma in Cinematography, I have been working in the film and media industries continuously over the last 25 years. Working mainly as a director and cinematographer, I also edit and have a lot of hands-on experience in all aspects of post-production. My experience base is broad having directed tv commercials, short documentaries, short drama, non-scripted tv, music videos and short form advertising. I also work as an associate/sessional lecturer at degree level. I'm passionate about young people getting into filmmaking, and if I can help and encourage them using my broad knowledge then that's a win win situation for everyone.

Bespoke, step by step programmes covering all sorts of filmmaking areas including pre-production processes, film or video shoots, post-production workflows, editing, compositing and VFX, advice and support on BA, MA and A level film projects. Help with production issues, equipment knowledge and all kinds of production processes and filming techniques. - 1 hour slots. - I have a PG Dip Cinematography and 25 years working in the industry as a director and cinematographer. Lessons can be tailored from A Level to BA & MA students, as well as anyone else interested in film production.
