About Comal
I have obtained a degree in BSc. Mathematics and a PGCE in Secondary school Mathematics from IOE(Institute of Education). I have experience of working in an inner London secondary school and tutoring students from KS1 to KS4. All my 11+ students have passed the entrance exam for grammar school.
The drive to teach comes from observing the increased confidence in a student as they learn. As a teacher I aim to ensure my students achieve not just their potential but beyond.
I have often found that pupils have gaps in their knowledge which restricts their understanding at a higher level. Thus I want my students to develop a strong foundation of maths that will make them confident and excel not only in this subject but other relating subjects. I hope to raise pupils’ aspirations and interest for a subject I am highly passionate about and also to give them the best possible chance to compete for a successful career.
